This is like the opposite of the Pete Carroll philosophy. He didn't believe in the first quarter, and took the foot off the gas with one score leads.

It was good the Chefs did not go, and the Bills did go.
 
whereas Shanahan may not be able to field a healthy team, he sure seems to bring the best out of QB's...first Darnold and now Jones. Trade Purdy with his salary for a first rounder and keep Jones?
Hawks and Rams looking solid, if Niners can get some healthy bodies back the NFC West looks to be a fun shoot-out all the way to the end.

It's hard to believe that my beloved Patsies are 7-2. The kid made a counple mistakes yesterday but in between he played some excellent football. We will see what he can do down in Tampa this weekend. It sort of feels like it should be a shootout. Both teams are good against the run and less good against the pass. Tamp has played a far more difficult schedule and has several impressive wins. My beloeved patsies have beated the Bills and a bunch of, well.....patsies.

Maye really likes to throw it down the field. If the O-line can hold up (looking at you Mike Onwenu), then I can see my beloved Patsies scoring enough to win. They probably need to create a turnover or two as well.

It's nice to be a fan of an NFL franchise with a rerifiable coach and a top tier QB. It's been like 5 years.

I appreciate that the Pats beat the Falcons. My LA RAMS get their #1 draft pick, so the more they lose the better.

The Commanders had such a Cinderalla season in 2024. With their aging roster and unfortunate injuries it has become a mushy moldy pumpkin.
 
Missed the first half of the hawks game last night so I watched Q1 during lunch today on the replay. 7 to 0 at the end of Q1; must of been a lights out crazy 2nd quarter. That defense is flying around and making big hits. Hope Daniels is OK. feel kinda bad for Dan Quinn and the Commanders. They're looking more like the "commode - ers" right now. hope they put some good games together before the end of the season.

Can't really pull for an NFC West team though

Going for a tie... SMOD....or something like that.

Maye appears to be the real deal. Pat's should be set for the next decade+ at QB
 
Hard to believe that Stephen A is sitting in the owners booth next to Gerry…he is one of his biggest critics…
