I strung up my 7wt and had fun with smaller papio, lai (leatherback) & goatfish…

Bummer on the ulua but the take must have been awesome. Does Brando’s kid use his flies or yours. Still curious if he uses the worm fly.
If it is raining might as well fish, they are already wet.

I mostly used my flies, but did use a couple of his…and he did mention the red worm…but we never used one (and I never saw it)

Not only were there wind ripples, there was rain…many of the fish I didn’t see until they were a grey blob two rod lengths away, which made for a tricky presentation without spooking them…
 
Looks like you're the only visitors.

Anyone else wondering how they got paving equipment onto the island to finish the runway?

I’ve been to Eniwetok, Yap & Bikini…you are so right…Alaska used to be like that, but with every passing year, it is less so…
