Hi there,
This post caught my attention as I have lived in both Singapore and Taiwan. Both places have some fly fishing opportunity. Legal freshwater fishing in Singapore is pretty limited. Taiwan has a lot more opportunity. Neither country attracts saltwater fly enthusiasts, although there are some local practitioners in both placces. Local commercial and subsistence fishing has taken a toll on near shore fisheries, but with a good boat and enough time to explore I think one could find some enjoyable fly rod adventures in both places.
