BTW: the picture in this article might be part of the Numpua watershed but it ain't at mile marker 24.5. I'm pretty sure that's a place called sticks beach; super popular summer swimming hole.

ya they were both at Baker Wayside... I suspect they were in that water below the falls, everything else is awful shallow. Sad and a reminder how treacherous seemingly harmless river plunge pools can be.
