Also went to Avid to get fluoro for 2025 and a new fly box to fill with mids, I’m at about 1100 and need more…I also won a $150 gift card for REI so went and scored a nice olive patagucci goretex raincoat j, may try it tomorrow on lone, will be hosing down but winds are a mess after tomorrow for a while and jonesing badly. Sorted

My wife and I got some of my Big Bro's wicked bitchin' game meat jerky and a 2lb venison summer sausage.

We gifted folks with jars of our deliciously face-melting chili crisp and superawesome blood orange marmalade.

I gifted myself a sweet pre-'17 (Camarillo-made) Abel Super11 and a new boutique-luthier mandolin earlier in December...its been a good month.

I got a requested Garmin InReach Mini 2, to add a layer of security for both my solo fishing adventures and the WAY off grid northwest Ontario fly-ins I do with my much older sibs.
Also, my two adult daughters (polar opposites who have very rarely done anything together since they were little) got together and hand-decorated a small wooden scraps box for my tying desk, to replace the cardboard one I'd been using for years
