Coming up in just a few days is Super Bow weekend. I know, I know, there's a football game on Sunday and I will be watching it. I'm a Seahawks fan but not a rabid NFL football fan. The last time I watched the Super Bowl was in 2015 when the Hawks lost to New England. Sigh... These last 10 years I have gone fishing on Super Bow weekend and tried to catch a big fat rainbow! You know, a Super Bow. It's way more fun than watching two teams I don't care about play football. One year on Super Bow weekend I caught a big bonefish. Oh man, that was really special! I have a Seahawks tie, and a Bobby Wagner jersey. I also have a Seahawks sweatshirt, Here is a photo of a Super Bow and a big bonefish. Darren, in my fly club, and I gave a new St Croix fly rod to a young man who is planning to join our fly club. I'm wearing my Seahawk's sweatshirt. This year on Super Bow weekend I won't be fishing. I'll be watching the football game. It's okay; I'll be strong.
