Not really one individual trip, just some ramblings and pictures of early to mid-summer. Work is getting to a place where it is optional for me and after a number of years giving way too much time to the man, I have started to get mine back. As an added bonus after years for being the guy that makes sure sh*t gets done, I have had more time to be the "fun" guy, which largely entails taking customers, vendors and other stakeholders fishing or skiing. With that said it has been a pretty darn good year, I had a 21 day run, where I fished 19 of those 21 days and outside of that run have managed an average of three days a week out. Many of those days have been taking newer folks or never evers from across the country down the local irrigation ditch in my boat. Really fun to see my buddies daughter in high school or folks from North Carolina hook into a wild 18 inch bow in some fast water or even yet land one like the below out of the ditch.
:
Outside of that had a fun two part trip for climbing down to the City of Rocks and then fished an irrigation ditch in Oregon for half a morning on the way up to Penticton for more climbing. Was fortunate to hook into a few good specimens.
After that it was over to MT for ten days in a row of fishing on the Mo, Stone and Maddy. The MO is the favorite of the bunch for me as we have a good crew of friends over that way. Highlights from the trip include hitting the front end of the Trico's on the MO and also the front end of the Salmonfly's on the Stone and Maddy. Non-fishing highlights would be a deer mouse infested Airbnb, a night at Chico Hot springs and wandering around some of the prettiest river valleys around.

Outside of days on the old local, I have been having a lot of fun up in the alpine getting some fitness and fishing in that have resulted in a few days that will live in the brain as long as it is functional. Like one this weekend, that had the lake looking like it was raining for 45 minutes with fish eating on top. I think we hooked about 20 in that time frame on the old parachute adams in water so clear you could see them coming for the fly from eight feet away

Appreciate the content you all share and figured it was my turn. Hope to see you out on the water!
