Here's nudge on the fly rods. They are each currently priced below similar rods on eBay for PNW Flyfishing members. And because I'l use the funds for you guessed it, more gear.
-The Sage Circa is a really sweet dry fly rod with great feel and accuracy. It'll do dry droppers or an indicator, but it really shines as a dry fly rod. While it'll cast some distance it's especially good at casting 25'-35', the range many of us fish with a dry fly rod. It's landed big trout on the Owyhee, South Boise and in the Lost River Valley (ID). Light in hand and in swing weight.
-The Sage FLI is a fast rod with a lot of power. It likes dry droppers, indicators with a little split shot, big bugs and streamers, too. Beautiful copper color.
-The Steffen: I fished the Gibbon River last summer in Yellowstone with this rod. It's got a relaxed stroke and is capable of up close work and distance too. Plus it's just fun to cast.
