Sub $100 3 wt reel?

See, you get it Phil. I'm too humble to have my clickers screaming when I'm having all these hawgs peel line ;)

You get it. Gotta keep it on the dl. I'd never experienced this before, but we were out on Crane last weekend. Everyone was kind spread out in the usual spots, and we started hooking up. Within 30 minutes we had a bunch of boats anchored near us, and a couple of ding dongs trolling amongst us.

Ya know, those Danielsson Originals are like, completely silent...

I know! Super happy with my f3w-7ten (although, their naming conventions makes me want to put my head through a wall).

Edit, you said original (my comment regarding naming still stands).

Sub-$100 reels are more or less equal, IMO. They all hold line great, and they all have lousy drag systems. The good news is that on your 3-wt., your reel is essentially a line holder. As long as it cranks in the line at the end of the day, it's plenty good. If you plan to catch lots of big fish on your 3-wt., you may want to spend the money to get a serviceable drag....
I disagree , the Lamson Liguid , and Remix have the same drag as the high end Lamsons . Another decent sub $100 is the Big Y Standard .
