Well thought I'd give an update.

I did talk about what I was doing a couple weeks ago, but finally got all the results.

All my blood tests and CTs are good. All the bloods are almost back to normal. In fact my A1C are back down to a "prediabetes" levels. Not down to normal but well before where it was during stroke. Was a huge drop.

The big one was the CT. One of the biggest worry, and what scared doctors and wife was the flu, was abnormalities in the lung. Bubbles in my left lung. They had a couple ideas what was wrong, but needed another follow CT later some there were other problems they were dealing with and needed to fix those first. They did know of the bubbles, but had bubbles everywhere, heading towards my heart was the worst they worried about. The CT shows my lung has cleaned up, like the ones in my leg months ago, and are considered normal.

Plus I'm down 2 appointments from a possibly graduated from speech therapist. I keep getting better and therapist thinks she's done with me. I know I've mentioned it before, but in the end it's me to do the last of my fixing of my brain. She gave all the stuff i need, just me to have myself keep working on it.

If you have any questions, let me know. I can forget things. So I'm sure to give any info you need.

Great news Jerry! Keep on fighting! We'll see you out on the water more often! Cheers!

Are you taking Pradaxa? I had a blood clot in my right lung over Labor Day last year, thank goodness Kaiser caught it. My cousin in California passed last October of the same (pulmonary embolism), but she was at a community hospital because of a broken hip after surgery. Jerry, keep on getting better!

No. The problem I have is APS which Warfarin pill is only thing I can take. I had embolisms all over. So my blood is checked to get blood at a certain level. Which takes awhile to get them right. My flu made my levels go out, so what was a normal once every twice a year check, now is starting over again. So was doing every week to start and at the every every 2 weeks. Unfortunately I wasn't at the once every 6 months part, so easy for my body to go out again.
