Not sure, but this looks like an extra long tapeworm. Wonder where it might have come from, maybe a seal?

The upper is depressing, The worm looks like a guinea worm, but we thankfully don’t have that problem here. I have a colleague who works with the CDC re eradicating them, a lot of it thanks to Jimmy Carter who created a foundation to deal with them.

I found a used needle near the parking lot at Pass Lake. Very sad.... I once found a used needle at a CA beach while metal detecting. Kids were playing in the sand nearby. It's hard to know what to do when you find a needle. If you pick it up, you could be technically committing a felony (possession of drugs). If you throw it in the trash you could be potentially endangering the person that changes the trash bags. At least that needle had a cap. Very sad.

I used to find needles around the parking lot in the shopping center where my business was in East Bremerton. There was a form on the Kitsap Public Health website to pin the location and usually they would come pick up/dispose within a day.

Yeah, it’s unfortunate to find needles anywhere but it is becoming more common.
I recently saw two floating in the blue when I went to use a portable head at a park.

There is a walk in spot on the Sauk that had about 100 neddles thanks to an encampment for 1 summer.

County cleaned it up fortunately!
