Steelhead Fly Swap

Edited!!! All are underway and heading my way in the mail this week it looks like.

I should also mention that we've had an anonymous mystery donor that mailed in some gorgeous flies! He's got a big heart and wants to see his hand tied work put to a good cause. I'm still thinking about how to divvy them up...PhilR and I are meeting for beers soon and can talk it over.

Ok I found out I'm a lot better at tying in the morning then the evening, also I need a dubbing loop tool.

Now for a real moral dilemma…I’m steelheading this weekend. Do I sneak out with one of my flies from the swap, or wait until it’s all finalized. 🤠 I think I’ll wait. (Unless I don’t.)

Finally back in town long enough to get these in the mail! Had a few days at home to sort through everything and get them shipped out. Should be in a mailbox near you very soon.

(Realized as I was shipping them out that I could've dropped a few of these off in person to a few of you in WA and Colorado. I should've planned better...would've been cool to see a few of you.)
