That's what I was wondering. I think that classifies as destruction of property. No exceptions for destruction of agriculture?
I'm on a slingshot forum and people are always complaining about those laws. Yes it's illegal to shoot a slingshot in your back yardAfter reading thru this thread I figured I'd check out the actual laws on shooting (thinking along the lines of pellet gun in the back yard). Spent some time looking up snohomish county regs on shooting BB guns/pellet guns. Came across some good but a bit confusing info. Basically, not allowed to discharge a fire arm (BB gun and pellet gun included) in any 'no shooting zones' (which is most of Snohomish County) unless your doing so to protect personal property or your life. Got me thinking, does a little bunny rabbit chowing down on my garden count as a threat to my personal property?? Hmmmmm....
Also, fun fact, it looks like a sling shot is classified in the same group as a fire arm....that was new to me. Never heard of someone illegally discharging a wrist rocket.
Since when did Sling Shots become illegal. When you are a young boy that was your weapon of choice when in the woods. I'm surprised that Pea shooters aren't illegal also. Where do they come up with idiots in congress State or otherwise. My mistake, we vote them into office. It's all of our fault. SADI'm on a slingshot forum and people are always complaining about those laws. Yes it's illegal to shoot a slingshot in your back yard... just do it behind your fence is what I say.
The natural forks or 'nattys' are just as good if not better then the purchased, cause they are custom made to you/by you. Flat elastic bands, custom tapers and ball bearings really up the accuracy and velocity. I use 11/16" steel bearings and I'm liking my simple shot beanflip right now. I can pretty regularly hit a 2" spinner target at 10m, makes a satisfying 'thwap' shooting cans is fun too. I have yet to hunt with mine but am planning on it eventually. To tie this back into squirrels, I could probably mess one up good... I'm also out of the city limitsWhen I was growing up a slingshot was a stick with a Y, a cloth/leather pocket and some elastic material. I was lucky to hit the side of a barn...
Now a slingshot a good weapon. It can kill any types of small game such as ducks, geese, pigeons, pheasants, rabbits, squirrels and even aquatic game like fish, etc. It's even possible to kill large predator game with the right combination of skill and luck.

Ahhh nuts.
Reminds me of my first marriage !!!
Our border collie aussie mix does the same ... when the squirrels escape up the trees she spins around the yard barking at them... and then, of course they taunt her. They'd be in big trouble if she learned how to climb trees. If you yell squirrel at our house the Australian Shepard immediately goes into chase and destroy mode.
