Bamboo fly rod...
- "Made By Gene Edwards" bamboo rod. 8-1/2' 7 weight. I bought it as my winter project and replaced the seat, cork, stripping guide and the wraps from the stripping guide up through the mid section. All pieces are straight, the bamboo is sound without any known repairs and the ferrules fit nice and tight. This rod casts a long ways for me on the lawn (up to 75') and would make a fun rod for searuns, bulls, large trout, maybe even smaller bass. Its not perfect or all original (see photos) but its a cheap rod for bamboo and casts a country mile. $250
Three rod tubes...
- Sage Ballistic for carrying multiple rods, the interior length without counting the foam cushion in the lid is 34". $50
- Vintage leather sheathed (aluminum interior) rod tube. 43-1/2", well suited to a 2 piece 7' rod. $75
- Black Aluminum with gold cap tube. 33", well suited for an 8' 3 piece bamboo rod. $40
