Spokane Area River flows Sept 1, should I even bring my rod?

I'm flying in to Spokane tomorrow for a work thing during the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 1. My flight back does not leave until Tuesday evening. I'm tempted to pack my travel rod and few flies in my carry-on, but is there even water in the Spokane area rivers right now? Is the water too warm to harass trout? Any local info welcome. Thanks!

I checked the gauge flows at https://pnwfishing.net/, but I don't know what's normal/fishable there.

Definitely, I’d just fish the lower river downstream of downtown (maple street bridge and below). The upper and lower river are really two different beasts. It’s the upper river (near the Idaho border) that suffers from skinny water in late summer.

Double nymphs rigs under a bobber if you want to be productive, heavy jig streamers if you want to take a ride.

Check Silver Bow website river report.
They fish it often, know the flows, flies.
As MarshRat said, fish lower, upper is basically empty.
