Spare holster for a wading staff?

The belt loop on the holster of my Simms collapsible wading staff has come unstitched from the body of the holster and weakened the underlying neoprene sleeve enough that it might not be worth repairing.

Do you have a spare?

You might see if a hammer holster would work .

It might for a net, but not a folding staff.

Since posting that I saw a video showing an alternate way to carry it that looked interesting and removed the need for a holster. The guy carried his net in a holster on the back of his belt and put the folded staff between the net and his back. He used a velcro clip to hold the folded legs together. This seems much simpler than using a 'sock' holster.

This is what I’m referring to. Hammer hollster , that Herkieez use for his wading sticks , just add a belt .

You can try taking your staff to a hdware store to see if a hammer loop would work.
You might also check out a koolbak wading staff holster...You can find them on line for around $30

I've got a Koolbak, and highly recommend it. Even to the point of ditching a new Simms neoprene holster in favor if it

I went to a local canvas shop with my wading staff. I had them custom make a holder for it in Ballistic Nylon. The cost was about $ 20
