Driving back from a week fishing on the east side, I get a message from my wife asking if I use reindeer for flytying. I answered “yes” and then asked her why (did all this while stuck in road work - chip sealing from Browning to Marias Pass, so lots of sit and wait; no crazy texting while towing the trailer at 65). Didn’t hear from her before I lost cell service and when I hit West Glacier an hour later I get a message saying “Good; it’s yours”; back at the house, this is waiting for me
Not a piece but a whole caribou hide; lots (and lots, and lots) of very nice hair, especially the strip along the backbone. She says that should keep me busy for a while; I’ll have to explain that I might be able to use it up, as long as I live to be 300.
