First off I'm sorry for not having pictures, you'll just have to take my word for it.
But every one of you needs to go to Anatone Washington and drive East Mountain Road to Pomoroy
WA.. It follows a high Mountain ridge 4500 feet if I remember right, this ridge overlooks a great deal of the hells canyon area and the views overlooking the Grand Ronde Valley, the Wenaha and a good bit
Of northeast Oregon with a clear view of the Wallowa mountains in the distance absolutely stunning views
like I said I wish I had pictures, just trust me. It's really something you need to see.

Spent 3 months north of Enterprise in an old Forest Service camp, Sled Springs. Canters Inn was our hang out place for beer and some food. Seven Devils to the east, Wallowas to the south, Grand Ronde down the hill, Fourth of July party in Troy. Beautiful country. Rounding up cattle with Coe Patton and his dogs.
