Okay a weird occurance today atthe fairgrounds...the big garage sale there...I think the largest now on the west coast...bought a couple of records...nice and cheap and better than th ones I already have...some cook books and fly tying hackle...for cheap cuz they didn't know what a grizzley hackle cape was worth...it was a #2 and nice...one buck!...But the weird part came when I recognized a Reeder Rod made in Vancouver WA in the early 70's...I could see it was perfect... Then I walked over to it and the guy said yeah it is marked like all reeder rods were...it's the 7th rod they produced... I had a moment of recognition. 35 years ago I gave my spinning gear away and took up fly fishing full time all the time...My brother and I bought Reeder rods...hand built and locally very popular...I will never forget...mine was a #007...so here I am standing in front of the rod I gave my brother maybe 30 years ago...Later he told me it got stolen from his basement... I only later realized what the serial # meant...It was a significant rod. So here I am wandering a giant junque sale at the fairgrounds and find my own rod 30 years later...I bought it back and have it now...Rick Enge...you won't believe this...Ha!
