As fucked up as my legs are I'd of fell down as he jumped from rock to rock and just laid there until I died. I tripped over a fallen tree on Nason Creek one time. I must of laid on the rocks about 10 minutes before I could get back on my feet. And this was before I ever had any surgery on my knees.

May or may not be accurate. He is known to sometimes include a bit of disinformation. I don't think the geology always matches up with vegetation either, though I can't say exactly why.

Wish like hell I could fish there though. I'd walk a hell of a long way for a day or two like that.

Yet again, I’ll be in your neck of the woods at the height of run-off.

The trade off is AK in summer which i’m not complaining about. I miss MT in prime time though. At this point I’ll need to be retired or the Russians are going to have to take back AK for me to get there for the big bugs.

For now I’ll have to be content with the Firehole. I know, I know….stop bitching.
