I love this reel, but I just don't use it enough. I fished it on a 3wt with a SA Ultra WF4F and still had plenty of backing. ~50 yds or more.
It's in great shape, works perfectly and is a joy when you get a fish on the reel. One of my favorite fish ever on this thing was a big 20" bruiser from the upper Yak. Let's say he gave it a test and it passed with flying colors.
It has the normal wear and tear. It does have a bit of corrosion under the finish where "The Flyweight" is engraved. Pretty normal for these older Hardys, but nothing to worry about.
It has the coveted "2 screw" line guard that was so popular (introduced in 1972, Hardy's 100th Anniversary) that Hardy decided the 150th Anniversary Lightweight series should have them as well.
It's setup for right hand wind, but it can be easily changed to left. Just change the pawls and the line guard and you're ready to reel with the wrong hand.
I have this for sale on Etsy, but if you're first then I'll take it down. I'm not interested in trades or OBOs because I know I'll get $250 for it eventually and if it takes a while...just means I get to fish it longer.
