All of my family lives in Spokane, most of them on the NW side of town. The videos they have sent are terrible. My mom, sister, and uncle’s houses all survived but most of their neighbors didn’t.

our daughter who lives in South Hill messaged us that several friends/co-workers who lived in the Plains area lost their homes

I'm seeing estimates of 600 structures lost. Just so sad.

My wife and I are in Billings taking care of my 96 year old mother after a fall and are pretty sure our home in Spokane might be gone.
When the last neighbors evacuated they said the fire was at our back fence. Our son and grandkids got a lot of important stuff out but there'still a lifetime of memories that are likely lost.
We have shed a lot of tears and are on pins and needles waiting for an update when the evacuation is lifted.

Oh man, that is the worst. My thoughts are with you and your family. Indeed everyone who affected the these fires. It is simply brutal.
