So blessed that my dad came up to it place to visit. He says what work do you want me to do ... I said we could go fishing, he says naw let's get some stuff done...

Do he is out weed eating, and I was trying to cut weeds around planters...

Should have gone fishing!!! Instead I almost cut the top of my finger off with electric weed shears... (Live rural always have steary strips!)

The first thing you do with an electric knife of any kind is to make sure to keep your fingers away from anything sharp. I hope you learned your lesson today.

I did the same sort of thing about 8 or so days ago. Was casting all my rods and pairing them with various lines and created a chart and finally have it all sort of figured out and I wanted to go out and now USE some of that learned matching information. Instead I decided to mow the lawn but first sharpened the blades to razor sharp and was putting them back on the mower and the damn socket on the ratchet slipped off and my top knuckle of my right middle finger got filleted to a 3/4 circle the size of a quarter deep but not hitting the bone. I went to ER for nearly 3 hour wait and 5 stitches of which only 2 or 3 were numbed. Felt every entry, thread pull and exit on each of those stitches just what degree.... with 2 ...no numbness at all. I AGREE..... AND I ALSO should have gone fishing. Now I am working with this club finger and it has a hit me button on it... and I have. I can relate Shawn. Jim.

Shawn:
Yard work is over rated.. spent the weekend trimming a 20’ high rhodie. Of course, that meant a dump run and a beer at Elliott bay in Burien.
