Short Belly lines with changeable tips

I'm fishing the 15' tapered tips that come with the line system, they're really part of the lines taper. I gravitate towards these systems for anything other than full float heads. Super happy with the EMT. I probably will go back to a less aggressive tapered Scandi or short belly spey line for summer, but maybe not...
The floating and intermediate tips cast and fish real nice for summer. I tend to overcomplicate stuff, but in reality, I could get away fishing the EMT and the EEMT year round, and be happy.

So I've had enough reps with this line and rod to say it's a definite keeper. It actually casts a bit better for me with the int. or s3 than the floater. That's kind of common for me with any multi-to\ip line. I suspect those thinner diameter tips fly a little better than the floater. It's not my favorite summer line, but that's getting nit-picky. I could fish this year round and be happy.

It's also possible that just the int or s3 is sinking and making for an anchor with more "stick" and that matched with your stroke makes the cast better. If my WAG is even possible considering I'm not watching you cast, perhaps try playing with your anchor to get more of the feel (rod load) you get with the inter and s3.

Just throwing this out there. Airflo scout 510/540gr are both 18.4'. Great for when your back is up against trees and brush. Easy to throw with zero room behind you.

The EMT is pretty much a scandi taper, so a long leader or a poly will improve your casting with the floating tip.
