Another Sharpes of Aberdeen Gordon fly reel (the last of three which I am selling here). $40 plus shipping (which I'm guessing will be $5-6). 3.5" wide and 1.25" wide. Weighs 6.1 ounces. This reel was made in Aberdeen Scotland by Sharpes of Aberdeen. Non-adjustable two way drag which can be used left or right handed. A delightful clicker. Spool is fixed by a single screw which you loosen with a screwdriver or coin. Reel is perfect with 5 weight or 6 weight line. There is a line inside the spool which shows how much backing you should put on the reel (see last picture below) Decent used condition with normal wear and tear from fishing including some rash on reel's exterior. This reel is the 3.5" standard as opposed to the 3.5" wide.

Dave, if you haven't shipped anything in awhile be prepared for sticker shock. I think the small flat rate box is now almost 12 bucks...

Way cheaper to simply ship youself as opposed to using a small flat rate box. I buy first USPS first class labels from Pirate Ship and use my own small box. I've mailed two 3.5" sharpes in the past two weeks. $5.71 Washington to Montana and $5.49 within Washington.

Yes pirate ship seems to be the way to go now. USPS is just getting ridiculous....

I've had good rates with UPS, but just signed up for Pirate Ship, been meaning too! Beautiful reel! Don't need it, but am tempted!
