SHAD 2025!!!

I have yet to crack the LW/L Sam trib shad code, but it's not for a lack of effort. I've slayed Pike Minnow with shad darts in my feeble attempts to find them. My kid’s rugby practice on the Cedar this year so I’ll be there a couple times a week trying to find them along with willing trout when I see the signs.

With the sunshine, I'm mostly finding day-drunk degens splashing around where the fish would be. Bless their hearts…

Yeah, need some cool rainy days. You'll find them.

Totally makes sense. I learned a while ago when fishing before the first wall that those big dam count numbers are fish that aren't there anymore so I like to fish when they're there.

The first for me in 2025 two weeks ago.

There was only 3.5 million this year , Bradford Island was a zoo . I got 2,487 , they are in my veggie garden.
