seeking Info and Chopaka

Hi,

A few buddies and I fished Chopaka last week and it was a huge disappointment. I agree with all that Treefrog had to say. I hope the state steps in soon to restore as much water as possible.

On another note. Has anyone fished Douglas Lake Ranch in Kamloops lately? I heard that Stoney and Minnie fishing had deteriorated several years back, and I was wondering if they have returned to the good fishing they used to have at the two lakes.

I am thinking of doing a fall trip and just want to get some solid info before I go.

Did not see rattlers but was the end of May and still pretty cool. I doubt if there are any around at that elevation. I understand the fish are smaller at Minnie, but more plentiful. We tried a bit of everything, but mostly caught fish on a slow troll or retrieve. Black seemed best followed by boobies and blobs. Mids worked some.during the hatch. Lost more fish than made it to the boat.
 
Fished last weekend of June. Water is down, but not as much as reported. Mids and blobs. Probably 30 fish in 2 days between the 2 of us. 16-18". Water 65F. Wind blowing north, was pretty good on occasion
