Austin, my daughter, and I drove up to our secret lake in the WA high Cascades (it was packed with gear guys and gals pulling out with their limit!) .. and had great fun! Austin got the most, (30!) .. but Heather got the biggest and the grand slam! (rainbow, cutthroat, and brook trout) ..and I got to play guide. The hot flies were a #12 olive bugger, (Heather caught 19 fish on the same fly) .. and the other was Paul's bruised black leech with a red bead head. Thanks for that Christmas gift Paul.. all of those flies work, and Austin loves them.
