Seals at the Barrier Dam

This fellow was observed a few days ago at the Barrier Dam in the Cowlitz. Feeding on smolts?

Wow! Have never seen one that far up. Could be feasting on Springers or steelhead that stack up there.

Not surprising considering there were so many of them at the river mouth a week or so ago they blocked off the mouth from one side to the other. Sick !

No, the cormorants, caspian terns, smallmouth bass, and walleye got all the smolt. This guy is going after YOUR fish!
