Scott Centric Micarta Reel Seat- saltwater safe?

Curious if anyone knows if the fancy reel seat Scott used in the centric is saltwater safe. Thinking of chasing SRC in the sound with one.

I do use a 7wt Centric for the Sound seeing how much @jasmillo likes his.
It's a composite so should be water safe, no issues with mine whatsoever and I've dunked it several times before.
Centric is a great stick, sensitive but got that kick for long distance casting.

No issues with mine to date using about a year or so and I am horrible at remembering to rinse my gear. My 7 weight was my primary rod for coho last year and as @Kfish mentioned, is an amazing balance of power and feel. It is my favorite coho rod and great for other applications as well. For me, as an AK streamer rod as well as a bass rod for western WA.
