Amazing the number of scams out there and I occasionally spend time wasting their time, but this one, on Instagram, was so obvious I couldn't bring myself to waste my time!

Most of the ones I get are dating scammers, who ask for money after trying to hook you..

Amusing to a point, but I've had friend's fall for it and have prevented a few family members from getting taken in on this type of shit!

I reported and blocked her, if she is a her.. Happy Tuesday! Fish on!! Screenshot_20220510-071312_Instagram.jpgScreenshot_20220510-071339_Instagram.jpgScreenshot_20220510-071347_Instagram.jpgScreenshot_20220510-070952_Google.jpg

I inquired about one of those telling me I qualified for a extra amount of bucks. So I put my info out there. I've had about 20 calls about insurance. I regretted the day I sent my info off. I answered two calls and told them I have a good insurance and don't need anymore. This was from about 4 days ago. I just quit answering my phone.

If something on the internet sounds too good to be true, you can bet your @#$%ing ass it is.

I've never been into celeb worship and I don't spend time wishing I had other people's lives. But if I had to pick someone, Mark Rober wouldn't be a bad choice. Smart dude living his life doing fun and clever projects. Could do a lot worse.

that was pretty awesome.

But, I hate those fuckers. (I dunno, does this rate as one of those "negative" threads as touted by the "purveyor of truth"? )

Every time I get calls from those people (it's really not all that often), I love to go into story mode...keeps them nice and busy for nothing. I sometimes like to muse about my musky journey and how difficult that really is....in more detail than is interesting to anyone I know.

Counterintuitively, these are designed to look completely stupid. That way, they filter out the skeptical, and get a higher yield of more gullible folks.

Got an email saying that I had placed an Amazon order just yesterday for a new computer and to call if there was an issue. Rather than glitter, cockroaches and stink bombs maybe these thieves should just be shot in the legs. That would work.
