Non-Fly salmon fishing tomorrow

it looks like Elliott Bay is not going to open this weekend I cannot find any updates. can anyone confirm this?
I fished Vashon Wednesday afternoon - nothing. but when I came in I saw the natives were out in the bay setting nets.

if not the bay, I will fish Vashon again. very low tide around 8:30 tomorrow so I'll be on the water till noon.

If I remember correctly, EB was only open for the days scheduled and there wasn’t an opportunity for additional days to be added.

I'm too lazy to google up a picture right now, but there's always a few guys around ready to lower a ring net and scoop up your catch. My experience with this is very limited, but it apparently works most of the time.

They drop top open ended crab type cages and lead the salmon into it or on top of it… just like a net. Then pull up. That’s what I have experienced at Edmonds and other piers.
