SA System 2 7/8wt reel & spools

The tooth fairy brought me a new 8wt reel, so time to move this on. What this might lack in glamour, it makes up for in utility. It will: 1) store your line, 2) reel your line in, & 3) put the brakes on, big time. Right now it's set up RH, so you normal people will have to reverse the action (easy), and respool the backing. One spool has an unidentified 8wt floater which is included. The other has a running line stub from a sinking line my brother busted. Pro tip: if your line tip is caught on an obstruction, try to avoid wrapping your running line around a boat cleat at the same time.

These are solid reels. FYI it would make a good 5 or 6wt spey reel as well. I have a beastly System Two 10/11 with no porting, it’s a tank. The porting on yours should help.
