RIP Wille and Donald

Life of the Party
Wille Mays was not only a great athlete/baseball talent but a fine gentlemen ambassador of the sport. Donald Sutherland sticks in my mind from the film version of "MASH" among other outstanding performances. They both held a special place in my life journey and will not be forgotten. RIP guys, you left your mark on so many of us.

As a kid watched a bunch of games at Candlestick, hoping someone would hit one deep to CF so we could watch Willie show his range and throwing arm...and when he cracked one out of the park, which took hella power in that windy hellhole, you knew it was gone as soon as you heard that sound...such a tremendous athlete and class act

I saw Willie play his last game at The Stick. He was visiting with the Mets in '73, I believe.

Just re-watched Kelly's Heroes. Sad news about Donald.
