RF Weeds Still Present?

Thinking about taking my kids to Rocky Ford this coming weekend, but I'd rather not contend with the weeds. Anyone know if they're still prevalent?

After fishing RF for many years I learned that the weeds are pretty much gone by Thanksgiving.
Take those kids and have a good time

I will. Trying to offer chances to kindle a love of being outside in the older one who, lately, is obsessed with texting friends and wishing he got to play more than half-an-hour of video games a day.

You might give Darc a call at the Desert Fly Angler (although he's likely on travel tomorrow). A friend of mine has been fishing the Ford the past two weeks and has caught some decent fish. He's a bobber fisherman so he must be finding open water. Good luck.
