Replacement for Subaru Forester?

we have a 2009 Forrester with the boxer engine. We bought it about 7 years ago for something like 10k with 100k miles on it. It has 160k now and runs like a sewing machine. Idling in gear at a stop light you'd think that the engine had turned off like our hybrid Camry does. Only problem is that it puts oil on the ground -- rear main seals were notoriously bad in that era. I'm thinking about paying the money to have that fixed rather than go looking for something newer. My sense is that this car has at least another 40k in it and with good rubber on it, it drives tight and quiet. As mentioned already the AWD on this rig is straight up awesome; it's our 'it might snow today' driver.

Subaru motors have a weakness in their use of chemical vs hard gasket seals, which can eventually break down. My daughters Outback, her second, is currently in the shop getting rear main seals replaced at 85K along with a couple of sensors. Fortunately, the extended 10yr/100K warranty she included at initial purchase is covering the costs along with providing a free rental.
Car repairs have gotten so damn expensive that such factory warranties have become increasingly sensible.

A pic of my 2023 Forester delivered Wednesday afternoon, resting on jacks since Thursday. It shouldn't be but it is. At least I'm not putting many miles on it. I doubt the dealer will pay me for the use of this pic. Details to follow
