Hey, rod builders out there!
I have some boat rods that have the guide wraps scuffed up from traveling in the tubular rod holders on the boat. Moving forward I will explore a method to better protect. The integrity of the wraps is good. Just stuffed on the backside and visually unappealing.
I have some Gen. 5 Lite Low-Build. Would adding a thin coat over the current coat be successful? Surface prep? Should I thin out the low-build even further? These are boat rods so don’t need perfection.
Merry Christmas!!
