I don't tie anything fancy enough to need these feathers, but I noticed the following listing on FB marketplace. Can't vouch for the rarity/price - but they're certainly pretty. Seems like they'd be good for conjuring up a high-end rendition of "The Precious" and potentially winding up as a bit player in the sequel to "The Feather Thief"
"Himalayan Monal (Impeyan Pheasant) feathers for fly tying or craft. I am a hobbyist taxidermist and ended up with a beautiful, VERY RARE, Impeyan Pheasant pelt. These feathers are extremely prized by fly-fisherman, as they are used in some of the most expensive, and producing flys. A single feather on Etsy is going for $50, but I have no use for the pelt, and I'm not trying to sell it one feather at a time. $75, or make me an offer!"
