Rain

Here are a couple more precipitation forecasts for the next few days (NAMNST and GFS). The 18Z NAMNST is a higher resolution model that only runs out through Saturday night. Cliff apparently favors the Euro which appears to be the wettest of the three.

PNW Weather Watch is not super bullish on heavy rain (euro model), looks to be landing north of WA. The OP, Vancouver Is, and coastal BC may see a decent chunk, though not much until it picks up overnight Sat/Sun. But other than maybe whatcom/skagit, most of WA looks fairly dry.

It is dumping up here in Port Angeles. The hardest rain I have seen since last winter. The yard just loves a good natural watering but my hanging baskets and window boxes are going to take a beating and be in need of an aggressive haircut and a healthy dose of Jack's..

It's getting old, complaining about the heat all the time. It'll be nice to complain about the smoke for a bit, before complaining about the cold rainy winter coming up.

😀

Not rain related, but spider season seems early this year in western WA. I’ve been face eating webs daily for about a month now while watering plants and on my morning daily walks. 😂
They have nothing on @Tom Butler praying mantis buddies, but they are set up well for the first termites that should show up any day now.

Could use a few of those mantis guys here , but not sure the conditions at the house are right for them
