Hmmmm, despite the drenching we received in late November and early December
streamflows here on the "wetside" were running low at the beginning of December.
I hope I'm wrong but SWE seems downright depressing for maintaining summer flows for trout fishing.
I wish we could tell the "little boy" to scram!

Our power went out for 3 days, roads blocked, HW2 closed, had to cancel Christmas diner.
Good old Blow Bar lived up to her name, about 30 trees cam down in just my half of the neighborhood, 1 on my neighbors house!
Extended forecast: 50-60% chance of above-normal temps in the PNW the 1st 3 months of 2024
The NWS said there is a 50-60% chance of above-normal temps and a 33-40% chance of below-normal precipitation in the PNW during the first 3 months of 2024.

Not looking great for sure. Might be a tough summer for water and fish if this holds true.

Thankfully I was left unscathed, 1 tree fell about 30' into my overgrown side property, that was it.
Not here, but some pretty crazy surf conditions in California.
