Knowing your posts I totally thought that yellow seam on your net was a snake! Solid trouts.

I quit nymphing years ago so when I trout fish its mostly streamers and some dries when fish are rising. Given the closures I'm a bit worried about fishing an olive string leech on a sink tip out there. I know you aren't targeting steel but I did see an outfitters IG post today where they bragged about a trout trip where they "accidently" caught and landed and took pictures of several steelhead on trout spey gear.

I'd really like to see a hook size limit when the steelhead fishing is closed so the trout fishing can remain open. #12 or 14 and smaller seems fair.
