Easy to do when you live less than a five minute walk from your house to the beach.
I would have driven south but the wind wasn’t good for where I wanted to fish today.
It’s always nice to get out though. 😉😂

Good tides had a few people out and about this morning. Fishing has been consistent last 4-5 weeks, with today being blue ribbon. 8 to hand today in an hour or two. Down south. Peachy maribou or deceiver seem to be the ticket. Lots of top water action as well.

How far south?

A buddy and I fished about as south as you can get this morning. Both of us, and another guy, got skunked. Not even a bite between the three of us. Fish were around, though. Just lockjawed.
 
Fun day and nice weather. Didn’t find any fish for the first two and a half hours so relocated and could some players. Good mix if cutts and rezzies.

Nice mixed bag of cutties and rezzies this morning in the deep south sound. Pleasantly surprised to catch anything with the dreaded sun + wind + weak tide combo.

I didn’t see any chum fry, but the fish ate a fry pattern, so do with that what you will.
 
I saw this news posted a few places today. This is at Doc’s. Apparently the gentleman had a medical issue from what I read. Sounds like he is ok and only had minor injuries. Sad deal, that is a nice boat.

Not sure what was going on as I didn’t see any emergency vehicles, but they were lifting the inflatable back onto the ferry at Edmonds this morning while I was out on my walk.

Fished from 7:00 till noon today. Some fish around, but not fast and furious. First beach was all rezzies. Relocated and second beach was all cutts. Nice day on the water with some wind, clouds and rain.

I need to start taking a small cooler…..and my punch card.

Wanted to go South but my buddy was too busy for it and I felt like I needed some social fishing today, so stayed local. Saw one jump but no takes. Saw three sea lions when I got down (Time change screwed us both and we were late haha) and there was a super nice baitball where they were feeding. Saw some cormorants and other seabirds feeding, I think I saw a poor baby salmon or three get taken. Saw a Bald eagle bringing food to her nest. No fish but a good day. Not for my gear, I last fished in December and it looks like I forgot to rinse it. Corrosion everywhere, gonna be a pain to clean up if I even can
