The popular Bluetti AC180 is on sale right now for $429! That is just an amazing price for this widely acclaimed item. I bought one back in January for $479 and thought I got a helluva deal. I haven't had a chance to use it yet for anything other than some test around the house so I can't comment on it's performance. And after my negative experience with the new Jackery 1000V2 I probably shouldn't say anything.
These power stations are improving so fast, just a few years ago I bought what was at the time one of the most popular models around the Jackery Explorer 1000. It was a thousand watts and cost about a thousand dollars and was very slow to charge. It has been very good and spends the winter in the house beside my recliner where it powers a 12v electric blanket. Now fast forward about 3 years and the new Bluetti is 1800W, charges in a fraction of the time, has the same footprint and is more user friendly.
The AC180 is now my go to power plant in the Casa and I have the new Jackery 1000V2 as a backup for a total of 3300w, more than enough to power my all electric camping unit. In addition, to keep them happy and well fed I have installed the new Bluetti DC to DC charger in the truck (dead simple!) and can charge 5.5X faster than just plugging into a 12v outlet in the truck. Simply put, I can now charge in an hours drive what would have taken me 5.5 hours of driving before. Some real progress there making the solar panels almost unnecessary. Not to mention paying about half price of what this stuff was recently.
Prices on this stuff can't last because it is all Hecho en Chine
