Surprised by the lack of trailers in the launch ramp lot this morning. Zero wind so decided a 15 min boat ride to the east end of the lake at where I seldom fish was the call.
Scouted around for a while and then ended up parked at alongside a beaver condo where the outflow empties into one of the rivers.
Sat and watched for a while and noticed some Damsels coming off the water and the flash of fish in the seam between lake and river, so tied a damsel pattern I've been using for the past few years on an intermediate line and had at it.
Almost constant takes, most in the 16" range with a few bigger, all feisty
Coming back early afternoon passed dozens of rigs on the mtn road heading for the lake. Hope they have a great weekend.
