Potholes guide recommendation?

Does anyone have a guide/outfitter recommendations for the potholes area? Not sure of the group size yet, but I expect that there will be 6-8 of us, with varying degrees of mobility and fly casting abilities. Looking to be there in the first half of July. Appreciate the input!

It might help to know what type of fish that are being targeted.

If trout, water temps may be an issue. Others have more experience on this than me. I am sure they will chime in...

Just some food for thought.

If a guide ain't willing to manually close off a lake for me by obstructing all roads heading in, ain't worth the guide service!! I make that VERY CLEAR up front!!

@Billy may know more as I grew up near there but haven't really been around for over 20yrs now... but back when I was growing up, Mar Don Resort pretty much ran all the guiding. I don't think they do much of any fly fishing, but maybe times have changed. Otherwise, I'd check with Reds as they seem to have a program for just about every central WA fishery worth being guided on.

Atlantic Salmon of course!
come on.... someone was going to say it!

My assumption is that bass would be the primary target, unless we should be focused on something else.
There are some private bass lakes that the shop at Mardon can put you in touch with. I don't guide anymore (might guide again in the future - but that's a long ways off), and I don't know of any fly fishing specific guides that know potholes very well.
