Fished some poppers for bass this morning, when they want it they really smash it hard. Pop, pop, pause…bam! Even as I anticipated the hit sometimes it was startling like a fire cracker went off

The big LMB was on jerk bait, I should have continued with the popper for this guy but it might’ve been hard to land with just foolish 8lb mono.
