Looks like I’ve got 1-2 former Westfliers that can make the weekend of 9/2 work. Kind of a leave after work Friday or early Saturday situation. At least one night. Still discussing a bike up from the mouth or bringing boats and floating up river. Could be a good excuse to get out of the house!

Any chance we could get a group together for an overnighter one of these upcoming Friday/Saturday/Sundays? I’m thinking rivers…Deschutes most likely. Coast maybe?

I’ve got a bike to do a lower Deschutes river overnight up from the mouth. Or could dig out the driftboat for something up river. Maybe y’all already got something planned though? I haven’t been on the forum in a while and I haven’t been out fishing in way too long. Unfortunately I’m restricted to weekends right now.

I'm up for fishing the D!

Would you consider going farther upstream where the hot weather hasn't affected the water temps so much as at the mouth? Granted its a longer drive, but worth it, as the fishing is often better. (Camping at Mecca??)

If folks want to float the Warm Springs to Trout Creek stretch I'd be wiling to bring my raft with space for 2 additional anglers.

Now we’re talking! And I’ve got room for two in my drift boat if needed. We could get a handful of people into camp.

I’d love to do the warm springs stretch for once without all the salmonfly traffic on the river. Unfortunately, that’s almost the only time I head up there.

I’m out of town that weekend otherwise I’d love to bring the boat to warm springs for a meet up. I fished there last week for a morning and it was wonderful. It would be good to meet some of you in person sometime.
 
Oh damn, this is very tempting. I'll see if I can break away even if only for a day trip.
