Pleasures from Rodbuilding

Last Summer I gifted my nephew a NFC Epitome rod. He sent me some photos to show me his successes using it. He’s a dedicated streamer fishermen that roams South Wyo. and Idaho from his home in Utah. Brings me pleasure to see him so successfull with that rod..

Curious to know if you know what strain of cutthroat trout he is catching. Certainly some nice fish.

Most of those fish are caught on the Green R. well upstream of Flaming Gorge. So I would guess they’re Colorado Cutts..

They look like Bonneville Cutts to me, but I'm certainly no expert. That's what I was catching growing up in Northern Utah.
