I tried that when it first happened to me and the uploaded photo was still rotated 90 degrees to the left from the original.

Make sure you save (a copy of) the photo on your phone - tablet computer before you upload (the copy) to the forum

I’ve found that this can happen when the dimensions of the photo are too large. Resizing to a max of 1200 pixels width or height will usually solve the issue.

On my digital camera, I just set the pixels to the smallest setting. I'm not that smart so I try to make things work the easiest way. If I want them bigger I can do that on my computer.
