Spent a few days 10 hours SE of my front door, no fishing as I knew the creeks would be high and ripping and they were but that was fine as I got to just tromp around. This area had just opened in the past week, it's massive in size and I think I saw half dozen people total two of which were BLM, pretty awesome solitude in early spring. The area is bisected by one road and a handful of trails so about 99% of it sees few people. Tons of wildlife, pronghorn, mule deer, coyotes, etc along with snakes huge variety of birds and amphibians. Wildflowers are just barely starting to go and will move up in elevation as the season progresses. Some pics.
